The psychological impact of COVID-19

COVID-19 crisis is emotional, family and socially challenging. It is important to know the psychological impact of a situation like this and to prevent the consequences. There have been similar crises in the past and there is scientific research on them that has reached conclusions that are worth to know for face this one.

Most studies reported high prevalence of symptoms of psychological distress and disorder, including: post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, confusion, fear and anger. Diagnosis and treatment must be made by a professional.
